OPEN Audition Technique Class

For you slightly older kids out there, the more seasoned performers or first timers, this is a separate workshop for you.  Whether you’re auditioning for HAIRSPRAY, RAGTIME, or have your sights set on something else, we’ll cover all the bases.  We’ll have a talk back session, then, learn a little song and dance (most likely from HAIRSPRAY) before a practice audition with honest feedback.  My goal is to answer each question any actor has to promise them a confident, educated audition.  Also, see familiar faces and make friends with other performers you may soon work with!

Leave with a take-home packet from the day to carry with you to your auditions!

*How to prepare and what to bring with you*

*Pointers on what to wear and how to present your best self*

*Audition and call back etiquette*

*Song choice and tips if you are asked to read for a part*

****Hints to make sure your true personality shines though****

Something new for this year, we are excited to offer one on one private coaching to further prepare you for your next audition.  We can work with song choice on vocal performance, overall presentation, and a cold reading from a script.  With this group, it will be up to the actor.  We’ll work together to make the most of our time!  Go that extra mile to guarantee a confident, radiant audition with a personal and private coaching to curb any jitters!
